Trail Report– Friday, January 17, 2025
Welcome to opening day of the 2025 snowmobile season. It’s been a long time since we have
had a trail report, but we finally got enough snow to open our trails.
At 8:00 am it is 29 degrees out with a high of 35 today followed by colder temps for the
weekend.
All of our trails were panned in mid-December which will help as most trails will have an ice
base. After our recent snow, all of our trails were panned this week and ready to go.
Please keep in mind that our trails are opening with minimum snow cover and at best will be in
early season riding conditions with some icy corners and possible thin spots that have been
exposed to the sun.
Best riding will be on our road trails which are Nixon Lake Road on 8E, Keego Road on 2W, Old B
on 6E, and Day Lake Road on 8W/51.
If you are in our area this week, enjoy our trails and stop in and support our local businesses.
We will be hosting a breakfast at Boulder Beer Bar this Sunday, January 19th from 8:30 am to
11:00 am.
Look for an updated trail report on Monday, January 20th .
