BJSC Trail Report 2/10/23
At 8:00 a.m. it’s 15 degrees out with light snow falling and a predicted high of 24 degrees.
Last night, we groomed 2W, 8W, 51, 15N, and 6E. Early this morning we groomed 8E, 15S, and
11.
On Wednesday, we had a club ride to Land O Lakes, Presque Isle, and back to Boulder Junction.
Despite sunny skies and a high of 44 degrees, all area trails were in good riding condition.
No grooming was done on Wednesday, but when our groomers went out Thursday, they
reported that the trail base had been diminished by the warm weather and some inside corners
were down to the ice base. Our snowmobile road route through town lost a lot of its ice and
snow base. Once you get through town, conditions improve.
Today looks like a good day for riding, but a warmup is coming tomorrow and sticking around
through Wednesday of next week with possible snow on Thursday. We will continue to groom
until the temps get to high for grooming.
Check for an update on Monday, February 13.
As always for everyone’s safety, slow down and ride right!
